The PowerSight PS5000 Graphical Power Quality Analyzer is a true RMS power logger well suited for diagnosing power quality issues such as voltage sags and swells; under or over voltage; inrush current; transients; harmonic distortion; and noise. The sampling rate at 60 Hz is 2083 samples per cycle and the meter analyzes harmonics to the 63rd degree. The analyzer can be used to monitor fixed frequencies of 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and 400 Hz or variable frequencies of 22 – 200 Hz or 360 – 400 Hz. With the full color ¼ VGA display screen, the user can view wave forms and logs directly on the meter, without using a computer. When installing the meter, connections can be verified with the integrated SureStart application.
This power quality analyzer is equipped with four voltage leads and four 6,000-amp flexible current transducers and the borrower can request current transducers with different capacities ranging from 5 amps to 5,000 amps. This unit must be connected to 120-volt power for long term monitoring unless used with the provided Line to DC converter. This analyzer is provided with an SD card to expand its memory and can use Bluetooth communications for setup and data downloading.
