The FC-E8 lens adapter is used with the Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera 4500 to increase the angle of the camera lens and enhance the wide-angle performance of the camera. The focal length of the camera’s lens is reduced to x0.21, maximizing the lens angle when the camera is zoomed all the way out. This lens adapter provides an approximately 183-degree view angle.
